Very compact design for such a high performance heater. MasterTemp gas pool heaters are available with 200MJ/hr, 300MJ/hr and 400MJ/hr heating outputs — all measure 53cmL x 53cmW x 71cmH, allowing for smaller equipment pads that won’t intrude on your poolscape.

No long waits before enjoying your pool or spa.  The following tables indicate just how fast the MasterTemp® gas pool heaters take to heat up various sized swimming pools and spas in hours or minutes for specified °C temperature gains.

   
An example using the pool sizing table:
 If you have a 107,000 litre (170 m³) swimming pool, using the 200MJ/hr gas pool heater, you can achieve 10° C temperature  gain in 24 hours.  This assumes that there will be no water surface heat loss over this period.  This is not the case!  However, if you could use an appropriate pool blanket, such water surface heat losses would be negligible.  For this swimming pool, using the 200MJ/hr gas pool heater for 12, 8, 6 hours you could expect a 5°, 3.3°, 2.5° C water temperature rises respectively, subject to negligible water surface heat losses. Why is that so?

For faster heating, use the 400MJ/hr gas pool heater to achieve about 18°,9°,4.5°,2.25° C water temperature rises in 24, 12, 6, 3 hrs respectively.
   
   
Note: The tables are based on a 16.6°C temperature rise, discounting water heat losses (such as surface and backwash heat losses) and only based on heat required to raise water temperature in minutes.
